Objective
Our client reached out us while their home was being built. They had several ideas that they wanted to incorporate into the design. They want to match the stain color of their stair rail, which still having white being the primary color. They liked the idea of incorporating shiplap as well.
Result
The unit ended up being quite lovely. The box shelves painted in an accent color and the mantel custom stained to complement the adjacent stair railing (not in the picture), contrasting against the white unit. They decided on the shiplap being installed in a V shape creating an interesting but clean looking backdrop for the TV and fireplace.
